BamBam Bungalows Zanzibar

The breakfast was divine. Everyday they switched it up and added a local delicacy which was a treat. The location was walking distane to the beach, the staff were kind and friendly. All amenities top notch.

Honestly Ayo and the team took such great care of me, even bringing me ginger tea when i was sick and recommemding great places to visit as well as transport. I wouldnt change a thing

The staff were amazing. The owner is super friendly and lovely to chat to. We were supported getting to and from the town by Haura who was super friendly as well. The ladies were very kind at breakfast and very keen to please. We enjoyed their cooking each morning. The room is exactly as photographed. Lovely pool and surroundings. Hotel is in the village and therefore you get to enjoy the sounds of their days. We loved meeting Bam Bam the dog. Overall a very pleasant stay.

BamBam Bungalows is stylish, intimate en homely. It has a beautiful garden with plants and a pool. The hospitality of the staff felt like a warm shower: when I needed a talk, they were there for me, When I needed privacy, they ware sensitive to that too. They were very service minded. The location is very practical in between a (working) ATM machine and the beach. It is situated in a local area and, once you know it, is very easy to find. I stayed for 4 days and would love to come back one day.

The location was not easy to find the first time you visit, however this was not an issue, since they pick their guests up to ensure you will find the way.

We loved the pool. The staff were incredible, extremely helpful, assisted us with getting around and anything we needed. We had a lovely, filling breakfast each morning.

Delicious breakfast - felt really spoilt! When my partner mentioned he had not tried a certain dish one of the ladies knocked on our door an hour later to bring us a plate. Really kind staff!

We had a room with a fan only, which was fine until the long power cuts which happened overnight and we were sweltering Very close to mosque, so woken each day at 6am Ants in the bathroom consistently Owner has several animals which we would be ok with but the cat kept coming in overnight and messed on our balcony so our chairs had to be removed and deep cleaned, meaning this space wasn’t usable for the rest of the stay Location is a little off the beaten track and has no streetlights outside
