Daeyoung Hotel Myeongdong

Sehr nette Leute und eine ruhige Gegend. Gute Anbindung an U-Bahn und Busse

The lady on reception was so lovely and kind.This made my stay and was the perfect welcome to Korea. The room was impeccably clean, very quiet and had everything I needed. The location was great: walking distance to go up the mountain for a view of Seoul. (Namsan) And right next to a metro station. Walkable to Seoul central station. Far enough from the hectic Myeondong to be peaceful but close enough to wander over and have a look. I was a solo female in the basement room and it was totally fine- they have lighting that you can adjust to make it seem like daylight or to make it dimmer in the evening.

One or two times an odd smell wafted through but I think that's just the neighbourhood in general

Great location behind Shinsegae Dept Store. Great view of Seoul Tower from room. Room was clean without any fuss.

It was very clean, conveniently located near the Myeongdong shopping area and close to public transport. There is also a CU conveniently located a few steps away, which is a huge plus, especially at night! The gentleman and lady at the front desk were so kind, extremely helpful, and responsive! The room was also a decent size, and everything was very clean! The property is kept very well, especially for such a busy district. The amenities were amazing! The toilet and floor were heated, which was AMAZING! They also provide full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as full size towels. Most hotels have tiny towels, so this was a HUGE plus for us. They even had chargers available in the room which was an extremely nice touch! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!!

Nothing anything wrong with the property or staff but a guest was yelling in the lobby in the middle of the night. It’s unfortunate that some visitors are so inconsiderate of other guests, especially at night time.

De locatie is echt wel top. Je hebt alles wat je kan verwachten op wandelafstand (shoppingstraat, Seoel Station 20 minuten, CU's, koffiebars,..). We werden enthousiast verwelkomd, de kamer was proper met de nodige voorzieningen en extra's zoals scheermessen, tandpasta, tandenborstel waren ook beschikbaar.

De badkamer viel mij enorm tegen. Er was geen aparte douchecabine voorzien. Langs de lavabo en Wc stond een kraan om te douche in de zelfde ruimte met een gedeelde vloer en afvoer waardoor echt alles nat werd bij het douchen. Ook had ik een kamer geboekt waarbij werd aangegeven dat deze apart waren, maar ik heb hier uiteindelijk niet moeilijk over gedaan. Wat me ook wel opviel was hoe dun de muren met de andere kamers waren. We konden onze buren horen wanneer ze op wc gingen en als ze aan het douche waren... Dit kan vervelend zijn midden in de nacht.

Open shower, the bathroom floor got very wet even when we were careful. Not necessarily a negative thing, just something to be mindful of.
