The apartment is right in the center. Clean, there were coffees left. This is our second time visiting this place and if we stay in Bari, we would come here again.

Excellent location central to transport hubs, shopping, cafes, the old city and the beautiful harbour. Beautiful apartment and great communication from the host.

La posizione

Il check-in è stato semplice e veloce, ma purtroppo è l’unico aspetto positivo che possiamo segnalare. Già dall’ingresso del palazzo la situazione lasciava presagire il peggio: scala vecchia, trascurata e decisamente sporca. Una volta entrati nell’appartamento, ci siamo trovati davanti a condizioni igieniche inaccettabili. I bagni erano sporchi, con residui evidenti nei sanitari e calcare ovunque. La cucina non era stata pulita adeguatamente e su mobili e superfici era presente molta polvere. Anche il pavimento era sporco, pieno di polvere e sporco accumulato negli angoli, dando l’impressione che non fosse stato pulito da tempo. Come se non bastasse, uno degli asciugamani forniti era sporco. Abbiamo contattato immediatamente l’host, che ha inviato una ragazza delle pulizie nel tentativo di rimediare. La ragazza è stata estremamente gentile, educata e disponibile, ma ci è sinceramente dispiaciuto per lei: è arrivata senza nemmeno avere a disposizione un aspirapolvere e con prodotti di pulizia assolutamente insufficienti per affrontare una situazione del genere. È evidente che il problema non fosse lei, ma una gestione che non investe minimamente nella pulizia della struttura. Siamo rimasti solo perché eravamo in viaggio per lavoro e non avevamo il tempo di cercare un’altra sistemazione, altrimenti ce ne saremmo andati. Oltre alla sporcizia generale, l’appartamento necessita anche di una seria manutenzione: docce con parti arrugginite, WC privo di copriwater, soffitti rigonfi e crepati in più punti. Nel complesso, una struttura trascurata sotto ogni aspetto, ben lontana dagli standard minimi che ci si aspetta da un alloggio destinato agli ospiti.

The apartment is located right in city centre. The host was nice and helpful lady. The only problem was the cleaning issue. The cleaning lady didn’t clean at all and we faced very bad experience during our stay.

The cleanliness!

The location was excellent! Only about a 8–10 minute walk to Bari Vecchia and close to tour meeting places. The apartment is located on a pedestrian shopping street, it’s usually pretty busy specially in the evening however, the noise never kept us up during the night. There is a nice balcony for people watching. the location is also close to many restaurants and A LOT of designer shopping. The communication was very good with the host and it was easy to find.

Nothing major..There was no elevator which was a little bit of a struggle with bags. There was only one side table in the living room, no coffee table. Pillows could have been a little firmer. Again the

The location was perfect. Right off the main shopping area a quick 10 min walk to Bari Vecchia (old town) and also 10 min walk to train station. Marika was very responsive. It was impeccably clean. And the apartment was large and spacious, especially by European standards.

We stayed for 5 nights, 4 of them were just my husband and I. One night we had my adult daughter and partner stay and she charged me what I thought was an extremely high supplement. I thought 25-50 euros per person would have been reasonable but this was 110 euros per person. In fairness, that charge may have been listed on booking.com, but it was a late addition so I didn’t check. The toilet seat in the 2nd bathroom was broken, so it wasn’t usable. The apartment had everything required, but nothing “extra.” We found it quit in the back room, but it was noisy for people sleeping in the living room facing the street.

The apartment was wonderful with an incredible location that allows you to experience Bari in the best way. The hosts were very hospitable and the check-in was very easy. I recommend this place to stay.
