The accommodation was very clean. Although the host doesn't speak English very well, we found a way to understand each other :)

The street was quite noisy, and there were fireworks in the middle of the night. The streets were also a bit dirty, but that’s typical for Palermo

Our flight was late arriving and our host held on for our late arrival, which was very much appreciated.

Host waited for us in the apartment after we agreed on time, showed us around, was very nice and friendly. Apartment was incredibly clean, it seems very new and well kept. It had everything we needed, host also provided small refreshments, tea and coffee. Upper bedroom has very low ceiling, could be uncomfortable for tall people, but since we used it only for sleeping, it was not a problem. Not too far from city centre, walkable distance, area is quite quiet except for cars driving by blasting music extremely loud – but that is not the problem of the apartment. We could easily park near the apartment without paying.

Apartment has no windows and was quite noisy from the inside you could hear plumbing and neighbors, but with ear plugs I slept peacefully and noise was not there early in the morning, which was very nice. There is this key that you use for electricity and it has to stay in so when someone wanted to stay in and someone wanted to stay late we needed to wake them up – another pair of keys would be nice if there are 4 people staying. Could use a coat rack or some more shelves by the entrance door, but this is a very minor detail. Apartment does not have washing machine (which we needed to use but we could find laundromat near by).

Nice Apartment, very clean. Very nice host. Can definitely recommend. 20 minutes walking to old town.

It was very clean and the facilities were all complete. We booked this property with kitchenette but unfortunately didnt get to cook anything as we wish because we arrived late in the afternoon. By the time we want to go to Ballaro market it was getting dark and didnt get to buy fresh food from there. There was a bottle of drinking water in the fridge and nice crispy biscuits/bread with Nutella spread prepared in the kitchenette. Location is within 10 minutes walk from train station is an important factor for us as we need to catch train. A bit out of the main historical centre, so less busy and loud. There are 2 beds. One at the upper loft? But we didnt need to use it.

It was too beautifully decorated with fragile items ( which is not a problem 😅 ) If booking for a family with little explorer at toddler age, parents might need to be more alert.

Good contact with the hosts so it was easy to pick up the keys. We managed to find a street parking space within a few metres of the apartment each time, so that's not a problem. Great location - shopping at the bakery, fresh meat and fish stores on the corners helped us live like locals. We also really liked the feel of the apartment

The bed upstairs had a really soft mattress and one side seemed to have a hole that you would fall into. Our backs were a little sore after. This didn't bother us as we were outside a lot of the time, but there weren't any windows (seemed common in Sicily if you entered the apartment from the street like you did here)
