Our stay was truly wonderful. The room was excellent, offering a breathtaking view of Darjeeling city and the majestic Kanchenjunga. The surroundings of the homestay were peaceful, scenic, and incredibly refreshing, making it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm hospitality of the host, Shijal Bhaiya, whose kindness and care made us feel right at home. A special mention also goes to our tour guide, Alphonsus Bhaiya, whose friendly nature, local knowledge, and support throughout the trip added greatly to our experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, stunning views, and genuine hospitality.
Not anything about dislike. The homestay is located around 2–3 km from Mall Road, making it an ideal choice for those(like me) who prefer a peaceful and scenic stay away from the crowd. However, if you plan to visit and explore Mall Road frequently, you may need to hire a car for commuting. It is tough to cover it by walking.

I had a wonderful stay at Zorba Homestay. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking, with peaceful mountain views that make the whole experience truly relaxing and memorable. The hospitality here is outstanding – the hosts go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. A special mention to Shijal for his kind and friendly behavior. He is always helpful, attentive, and ensures that guests have a smooth and pleasant stay. The complimentary pick-up and drop facilities are a great added benefit and make traveling very convenient. Nilam’s food is simply delicious – homely, fresh, and made with love. Every meal felt warm and comforting, just like home-cooked food should be.
