Malahide Castle Hideaway

The house is stunning and the Location.

It was superb!

Beautiful property. Quiet and private locations

Water dripping from next door. Back door didn’t feel secure

The house had a spacious layout and we appreciated the two living areas. Bedrooms spacious The beds were comfortable The area was quiet and relaxing Parking at the front of the property Prearrival information good. Towels / linens were very good

The kitchen had minimal cooking implements -Eg no large pot or pan / colander/ salad bowl [This is only a concern if you are cooking/ eating in which we were.] Not sure the range hood extracts much from the cooker The main bathroom shower water temperature could not be regulated despite many attempts to turn the dial to change temperature to a mix of hot and cold water, so the water was too hot to stand under ( as i was the only member of the party who didn't know this until after we had left, I couldn't report this at the time) Cleaner needs to check thoroughly as we found food rubbish in the main bedroom and bedroom closet and the bathroom bins full of tissues etc and wet washing from previous guests was found in the washer ( these are the little things you depend on the cleaning crew to check)

Beautiful house, would stay again

Our stay at this charming Malahide house was absolutely delightful. The house was the perfect size for our family of five, offering spacious and cozy rooms for everyone. We loved the open-plan living area, which was ideal for relaxing and spending quality time together. The house's proximity to the main village and Malahide Castle was a major plus. We enjoyed exploring the charming streets, visiting the castle, and indulging in delicious local cuisine. While the weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities, the house itself was so comfortable and inviting that we didn't mind staying indoors. The well-equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights' sleep. We can't wait to return in the warmer months to enjoy the lovely garden. We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Malahide.
