Mangalmayee Heritage Home - Boutique Homestay

We booked the Jaipur Suite, which is on the first floor (one above ground floor). The room is very spacy and completely newly done. Nice bed. The person who is taking care can always be reached by WhatsApp is very reactive.

Shower head didn‘t work properly. The room is rather noisy, because you are in the center of the basar area and you hear everything that is happening outside. The outside of the hotel is not very nice.

If you're seeking a peaceful retreat, Mangalmayee Heritage Home may not be the ideal choice. Situated amidst the bustling Bapu Bazaar, the surrounding area can be quite lively and noisy. However, for those who enjoy the vibrant energy of city life, this bustling atmosphere adds to the charm. Despite occasional celebrations lasting into the night during our stay, we found the lively ambiance to be part of the authentic experience, immersing us in the vibrant pulse of real life

We came across Mangalmayee Heritage Suites when we looking for a heritage place in the old area of Jaipur for a two-day stay. The old markets and the main attractions are just minutes away. The Persian suite where we stayed was spacious, with spotlighted framed tapestries and beautifully furnished room. Privacy and safety is assured with one suite per floor. Best of all was the host and property owner's helpful nature. He helped us make a sightseeing programme and we were on our way in a short time. When we visit Jaipur in future, Mangalmayee will be our first choice to stay.

Just a fantastic location… rooms were next level - clean, spacious & very comfortable. Dhruv & his team could not have been more helpful - a lovely treat to see the real Jaipur.

Fabulous room and owners

No restaurant or common areas

The location is excellent if you are interested in sightseeing, shopping and experiencing the local culture of Jaipur. The ambience and rooms are superb and the host is very helpful in resolving all queries promptly. There is no provision for breakfast inside the property as of now, but many food options nearby such as LMB, and a chat bhandar right next to the gate of the property. Currently there are 3 large and lavishly decorated rooms available for stay, one on each floor, so it makes for a cozy, secluded stay, very different and enriching experience compared to a hotel stay.

It can be noisy at times since the property is between the market area and a cricket ground, and a noisy night cricket game was being played during our stay. Also construction noise from the house in front started early in the morning. The pile of trash near the gate can be a bit offputting, though the market area was quite clean

We enjoyed the place so much that have recommended to many others who are in India. The hospitality provided by the owners was A+. I was betting on the location when I was booking this place but as soon as got connected with the owner I felt comfortable and appreciated the place. The owner was also very prompt in every question or ask I had. Must stay and don’t miss seeing the other floor options when you staying here.
