Sakuragawa-an Higashiyama

- просторий за японськими мірками будинок з двома ванними кімнатами, туалетами і кухнями - стильний традиційний дизайн, після якого і вдома хочеться зробити спальню з татамі - дуже класний душ з хорошим напором води і косметичними засобами (шампунь, гель для душу, кондиціонер) - є порошок для пральної машини - зручні баки для сміття з продуманим та не складним сортуванням - дуже корисні інструкції по всій техніці і рекомендації закладів від власників - швидка і ефективна комунікація - зручний чек-ін і механізм відкриття/закриття дверей - класно, що багато вимикачів підписано, щоб було зрозуміло, де що - класна локація і дуже затишному районі недалеко від району Гіон біля готелю Four Seasons - Lawson в трьох хвилинах ходьби

- є праска, але можливо було б краще додати ще й відпарювач

Perfect location, clean and spacious. Located on a nice quiet alley. Hosts were clear with the instructions and quick to respond.

Nice tidy house in quiet location

tv downstairs had issues with wifi that meant was unable to use the whole time which wasn’t great given we had children . Suggested fixes didn’t work

Cozy but the stairs were too high hard to bring the luggages we had brought for the trip

Other than the stairs nothing else

We were very lucky to find this wonderful place at the last minute. The check-in process was super smooth, and the house was spotless from the moment we stepped inside. It has a generous kitchen and dining area, along with both air conditioning and a heater. The ventilation is excellent, with large windows and a small patio that was very convenient for drying clothes. It truly felt like a cozy home. The host was incredibly helpful and kind, which made our stay even more pleasant. The location is also great — it’s within walking distance to Higashiyama Temple (about 15 minutes). We absolutely loved our stay at Sakuragawa-an and hope to come back again in the future.

It’s not my concern but if the staircase leading to the room is a bit steep and narrow which may be inconvenient to some people. Anyway, the room is excellent and we had a very happy stay there.

The place was super peaceful. It was big enough for 2 and 3 adults. The place was spotless clean. Close enough to a bus stop and quite a few shops about 5 min walking. It had basic necessities, tea, suger (you will understand this if you stay), washing machine powder, and there is also a luup right outside (bike rental electric). The bedroom area is tatami which is super nice

I can see how this might be a tight space for 4 people. The futons could be changed as they seemed a bit thin. We were 2 adults and used all 4 futons

Wonderful apartment, very quiet, clean and comfortable, in a great location. Well equipped and exactly as described. Host was great at communicating and directions and check-in were easy
