Everything was great except the it had rained a lot and the road to the property was a little Slippy but soon dried up. The internet was down so couldn't use the gate code but got hold of the owner and it was sorted timeously. Great service all round.

Absolute Gem! We stayed in the main house and we have never stayed in such a well equipped place before. It has absolutely everything you need for a great stay. This will forever be our first option in Clarens.

"Platteland House stays magical and memorable"

This was our second visit to Platteland House. The quality time spent together as a family was full of the most beautiful memories. Once again we were inspired and rejuvenated by the harmony the house forms with the environment, this allowed us to escape and enjoy the tranquility it creates. Thank you for the exquisite quality of linen, towels and comfortable beds, this is always the key to a great stay. The ambiance created, only speaks of exceptional taste and creativity. Thank-you again for service excellence and exceptional hospitality from Mari. Looking forward to our next visit!

Everything was perfect! Just a suggestion, to allocate a specific parking space to each of The Cottage and The House. As the guests visiting The Cottage reserved both parking bays.

Comfortable bed. Electric blankets was a bonus. Nice desk working area. Kitchen well equipped. Close to town

Wifi was poor. Made working whilst traveling difficult.

The place is stunning and very serene. The host is very efficient and friendly.

We were there for 4 days and our unit was never serviced. We ran out of clean towels and had to go buy toilet paper as well. For the duration we stayed, I believe it should have been serviced especially for a large group of 6.
