"A lovely break in Clarens 😌"

We loved the backyard views into the mountain and easy access to walking trails. The home was spacious enough for our family of 6 and the fireplace was welcome during the colder evenings. Mari was a superb host, easy to reach and quick to respond and resolve any concerns.

The 2nd bathroom is not as close/incorporated into the house as we would have liked. The wifi was slow on some occasions and a 2nd TV would've been our cherry on top so the kids and adults could watch whatever they wanted at the same time - this wasn't a deal breaker though.

Lovely cottage walking distance from Clarens's town centre/square. It has very good wifi, fully equipped kitchen, a braai and it's own private little garden. One of the Clarens Nature reserve trails go past directly to the house, so it's also great for hikers and trail runners.

The location and facilities were excellent. A good mix of rustic and modern styling of the interior and exterior. The vicinity to walking trails and also restaurants is a bonus. A bird watchers and nature lover's paradise. The covered outdoor dining area doubles as an amazing bird hive.
