Location was great room was good

The bed was very hard and the staff were reluctant to give additional pillow

Location is good. Very near Nijijo-Mae station. Convenience stores all nearby, the Teramachi and Nishiki market just a train ride away.

I only have one thing I didn’t like was only 2 washing machines for the entire building.

The lobby with the comics was good

Excellent hotel with great staff! Tiny twin room, not much storage space but clean and comfortable. The bathroom only had enough space for one person but the shower was very good. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Nice that we could do my own washing in the laundry machines. Reception and breakfast area was pleasant and includes a drinks vending machine. I think there was free coffee and ice tea throughout the day though I didn't use it. The breakfast bento boxes are simple but tasty and adequate. Ideal location for Nijo Castle. Also a covered shopping street nearby, and a Lawsons and a 7/11 nearby virtually next door. The staff kindly forwarded a pair of jeans I accidentally left in our room to my friend's house in Tokyo (cash on delivery).

There was nothing I didn't like, all good.
