Geen Internet, deed het niet. De weg omhoog de berg op, was met onze auto een station niet te doen. Super smal en bochten niet te maken.

El apartamento estaba muy bien y muy equipado.

El acceso con el coche es complicado.

Alles war sauber. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt sogar Waschmaschine und Trockner, was für uns sehr praktisch war.

Die Umgebung. Das Gebäude ist schwer erreichbar, die Straßen aind sehr eng. Ein paar Nachtlampen wären gut gewesen. Die Schlafkissen waren ziemlich schlecht.

Beautiful clean apartment. It has everything that you need. Nice few from the balcony.

We truly appreciated the flexibility of the check-in time. After a long drive from Germany with two little children, it's hard to predict an exact arrival time. Thankfully, the access via key box and the clear instructions from the owner made our late arrival smooth and stress-free. There’s a private parking space right at the entrance of the house, so we didn’t have to waste time looking for parking—a big plus when traveling with kids. Just a short walk away is the Dogana area (right on the border with Switzerland), where we found lovely cafés for breakfast, a great bakery/patisserie, and a little shop selling specialty Italian foods. The owner prepares different versions of freshly made panini with cheese, hams, and salami. Try it and thank me later—especially if you appreciate good food! The flat itself was spotless and very well organized. It has two balconies; the smaller one quickly became my favorite spot to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee before the rest of the family woke up :-) The owner was exceptionally kind and responsive to our needs. For example, on the day of checkout, it was my 3-year-old son’s birthday. I asked if we could extend our stay by an hour to celebrate at home instead of in the car. Not only did she agree, but she generously offered for us to stay as long as we needed. We’re very grateful for that kind gesture.

My experience was very good overall. The only thing to be aware of is that to reach the house, you need to drive through a narrow street. If you have a large car, like we did, it requires good driving and parking skills for maneuvering.

We recently booked this accommodation and it was a disaster from start to finish. First and foremost, the listing failed to mention that the property is virtually inaccessible by car. The streets leading to the apartment were so narrow and steep that driving was impossible. This critical detail was omitted from the description, causing us significant inconvenience and stress upon arrival. To make matters worse, when we tried to contact the host for assistance, our calls went unanswered for an extended period. When she finally did pick up, she only spoke Italian, which made communication nearly impossible. This lack of responsiveness and language barrier compounded our frustration and left us feeling abandoned in a difficult situation. Due to the inaccessibility and lack of support, we had no choice but to book alternative accommodation at the last minute, which was both costly and inconvenient. Adding insult to injury, the host still demanded that we pay the tourist tax and was only willing to refund a small fraction of the price we had paid for the original booking. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences we've ever had with Booking.com. The misleading listing and unhelpful host turned what should have been a relaxing getaway into a nightmare. We strongly advise potential guests to steer clear of this property.
