Borgo Vignale

Il b&b è una vera e propria casa, dove ci si sente subito a proprio agio. Maria e Giuseppe sono due persone di cuore, che ci hanno accolto come in famiglia, sempre gentili e disponibili. La struttura è isolata ed è un po difficoltoso raggiungerla, ma vale la pena trascorrervi qualche giorno per l atmosfera, la bella terrazza, i cagnolini adorabili e la convivialità che regna in questo posto. Grazie!

It's a mountain B&B run by two wonderful Sicilian ladies. They were extremely welcoming and treated me like family, communication went well even though I don't speak much Italian. The place is a little difficult to find and get to but worth the trip if you like nature. The facilities were in great condition as were the rooms. The hosts are very friendly, forthcoming and exceeded all expectations. I'll come again! If you make it here, definetly get the option of eating a dinner. Great authentic Sicilian food and wine. I can recommend a hike to Pizzo St'Angelo (5hrs there and return) while you stay here and also the Natural reserve which is ten minutes by foot. It makes sense to stay a few days to unwind and relax.

The view from the terrace is just amazing! The place is very remote and it requires 25 min challenging drive up via very narrow, partially dirt and steep roads. Don't do it at night or with the big car ;) Way from the east is a little bit easier. There is literally nothing around, so bring your dinner or ask the owner to prepare you one. Room was clean and well equipped. The owner and her dogs are very friendly. Breakfast on the terrace in Italian style (only cakes, cookies and joghurt). So, if you are allergic to gluten or can't/avoid suger - don't make mistake and inform the owner in advance ;)

A really beautiful house setteld between in an amazing landscape. Just as a tipp: either book some dinner with the stay or bring some snacks for the first evening if you arrive later during the day as you may not want to make the drive into the next city once you are there.
