Gute Lage, eingezäuntes Grundstück.

Es war alles vollkommen in Ordnung!

Das Haus ist schön und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Vier bis sechs Personen haben dort gut Platz. Für mehr würde es relativ eng. Es hat am Tisch innen nur 6 Stühle. Die Umgebung ist toll und nicht weit weg von Cecina und Volterra. Man kann viele schöne Ausflugsziele von dort aus sehr schnell erreichen. Zum Glück ist die Umgebung und Toskana so schön.

Das Haus steht nicht alleine. Das Nachbarhaus ist direkt nebenan. Dort hat es drei Hunde, welche für ordentlich Lärm sorgen. Auf den Dächern hat es viele Taube. Diese sorgen am Morgen früh, bei Sonnenaufgang auf dem Dach des Hauses ebenfalls für Lärm und verschmutzen alles. Als wir das erste mal getuscht haben, war der Ablauf in der Dusche verstopft. Als wir dies dem Vermieter gemeldet haben, hat er geschrieben, wir sollen eine Pumpe kaufen und dies selber reparieren. Er würde uns das die Pumpe vergüten. Der Grill war schmutzig. der Vermieter hat die Schuld einfach auf die Putzfrau geschoben, an Stelle jemanden vorbeischicken, der ihn gereinigt hätte. Man kann nur ein Fahrzeug im Innern des Geländes parkieren. Wir waren zwei Wochen dort. Hätten wir uns nicht beschwert, hätten wir nur einmal Frotteewäsche bekommen. Die Antwort vom Vermieter war, es hat ja eine Waschmaschine. Ihr könnte die Frotteewäsche selber waschen. Ist das in Ordnung? Die Stühle draussen sind zum teil kaputt. Es ist gefährlich, dort drauf zu sitzen.

The location was nice, you need a car, but you can easily visit cool places, wineries, restaurants nearby. There was a great restaurant 2 minutes walking where we ate twice a day for the entire month.

We arrived late at night (after driving for 2 days) and we were disappointed to see there was no soap, toilet paper and other basic things like this. We were not expecting 5 types of shower gels, but not being able to wash your hands when you arrive (and also no option to go to a store late at night) was not the experience we were hoping for. The hosts then mentioned they forgot and we can buy some stuff or they can bring something tomorrow, which they did. We got a big bottle of shower gel which we had to share between 3 bathrooms (one of them being located in another building....) and when I asked about this, they basically said "you should be thankful we brought you this, as you should buy your own soap" Besides this, the place was decent but the cleanliness could have been better. There weren't a lot of things we could use to actually clean (just a very old mop) so we had to buy a lot of products and had to do a deep cleaning so we can stay comfortably. On the surface you couldn't really see that it was dirty, but the floors for example were definitely not washed in months. Internet was okaysh, but not great (we were a group of 8-9 people that needed to work during the day). Another downside was the fact that there was no proper living room, so there was no place to actually hang out. The sofa in the 'living room' was very very uncomfortable (and small). Next time we do a trip like this, I'd definitely optimize for a place that has a proper living room and a table/chairs for all the people (we paid for 10 people, but only 6 could actually eat at the same time, for example)
