IEIEThe location was excellent really safe for the kids
AUCottage was small and cosy and perfect base for a weekend. Bedrooms were comfortable and house was nice and warm. Kitchen was great - we were able to cook dinner no hassles. Very comfortable and welcoming place.
Only suggestion would be the checkin at 5pm - in winter it is dark by 4:30pm, lots of small windy roads in Ireland, in the dark finding the location the first time was a bit nerve wracking. Even an hour earlier would have been preferable. Having said that once we found it, cottage was perfect.

AUIt's in the country with only a couple other houses on the estate. Cute little cabin at the rear of the main estate house. Quiet and dark so great for watching the stars at night. Two comfortable rooms. Well equipped for a longer stay. Would be great for a family and there is a big lawn for playing a bit of bocce, football, or play. It's a lovely peace and quiet place
It was a bit far out of Athlone for us. It's a single lane country road and not well lit at night for comings and goings. Otherwise the drive is fine in daylight and easy to find
