Zebra Cottage

Comfortable and cozy. Everything you need is there. We were even spoiled with fresh bread. Linen amd towels are good quality which contributes to the luxurious feel of the place.

Absolutely pleasantly surprised!

Zebra Cottage is an absolute gem. The moment we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful, elegant design and the immaculate cleanliness of the space. Every piece of furniture feels thoughtfully chosen, combining comfort with style, and the overall atmosphere is both inviting and luxurious. The cottage is exceptionally well-maintained, with attention to detail evident in every corner — from the tasteful décor to the high-quality finishes. The welcome pack was such a thoughtful touch: a freshly baked ciabatta from Doppio Zero, butter, tomatoes, cucumber, salamis, and fresh eggs waiting for us, along with the coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and cookies. It made us feel truly cared for from the minute we stepped inside. We also saw the zebra in the reserve across the road from the patio which was awesome. Communication from Arina was excellent throughout — warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. A must stay if you are looking for a place in Pretoria. Highly recommended!

Excellent communication with the owner prior to our arrival. Arina is very friendly and accommodated our special request regarding our arrival time. She was also easy to reach and happy to give us tips and advice about things to do in the area. Access was easy and uncomplicated. The cottage is in a secured estate. After parking in the allocated parking spot (safe and basically on the doorstep), we stepped into a welcoming, clean and fresh smelling cottage, where freshly baked bread, butter and other basic necessities and snacks awaited us after our long journey. So considerate! The cottage is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. A big plus is the washing machine and outside washing line. The beds are very comfortable. We also enjoyed the patio in the morning, sitting there with our coffee while watching the animals across the street in the nature reserve. Such a pity that we didn't have time for a braai there, since the facilities are very good and a bag of firewood had been provided. Next time! The location was perfect for our needs - close enough to shopping malls, but not much traffic in the street. We loved the area and felt very safe there. Zebra Cottage is a gem that I am more than happy to recommend.

Everything. I travel a lot and stay in lots of places but this place is the best of the best. Kitchen is well-equipped. Interior decorating is excellent. Linen, sheets, towels, matrasses and pillows very good quality. This place is also safe to stay. I will highly recommend this place.

We use guesthouses a lot, this one is really EXCEPTIONAL! Everything is in tip-top condition, neat, clean, modern, comfortable, good communication, easy access, safe. Our hosts even treated us with snacks - not just coffee and milk! We would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Arina & Francois!
