Hostel Rincon

The location was good and the staff was friendly.

The bathrooms were incredibly dirty. One toilet was clogged, with poop in it, and the whole bathroom area smelled like urine. Shower curtains don’t close properly and since the bathrooms are mixed it is uncomfortable. Sink also very dirty and no hand washing soap. Toilet seats need to be replaced as they are falling apart. The room barely has natural daylight and there are no lockers. Definitely not a social hostel either. I paid for two nights but left after one.

That place had a goo vibe from the beginning the owner received us with a smile and everyone too, we were accommodating super fast we had nice food and the cocktail were amazing 😍! Good music very nice environment, If.you want to have fun! Go there and la Marketa as well

The place is at the perfect spot of the town! Easy to park too and easy to move around. There is a beach near by , 8 mins walking. My sleep was perfect, people were very respectful and it was so quiet at the night time, also mattress were so comfortable. There is a little patio and a lobby with a pool to play, this is connected with a restaurant and bar where food and drinks were incredible. There is bikes and surf board available to use which made our experience even better. But the best without doubt is the staff! They were very professional and look after us from the first minute! Shout out to Felix and Rolando! Thank you so much guys for making us to feel at home!

Nothing that I didn’t like

It's cheap and it's the only hostel in town. Free bikes were also cool.

It's very unclear where the entrance is. I was lucky the owner picked up his phone and was able to tell me because i spoke to another woman who couldn't find it either and the owner was unreachable so she couldn't get in. Besides that, it's just not ready yet for business. The showers are open so anybody can see you shower. There is no hot water. The curtains are tied with tie wraps but they ruin everything so the entire bathroom and therefore the entire place is wet. They try to stop it with towels on the floor but that makes everything more disgusting. There is no sink nor dishwashing soap in the kitchen so you have to do the dishes in the shower i guess but can't really clean it. The beds are very uncomfortable and the sheets are super thin so it's cold at night. They start construction on the upstairs bar every morning super early. I think this place does have potential, but it needs a lot of fixing before it can open just yet, this is a joke honestly. We left a couple days earlier than we had planned because we couldn't take it anymore.

The location is excellent and staff are so helpful and kind! The hostel is basically attached to the restaurant (the food and drinks are incredible here!) that also has pop-up stalls with jewelry and clothes!

Not that I didn’t like this, just be aware that the showers are in the room open to all hostel guests, so not female-only showers. But this was not a problem and all guests were very kind and respectful of everyone’s privacy (obviously the showers do have curtains so you aren’t just in the open)
