Extremely welcoming and helpful owner, good location for the port and old town, and very clean and comfortably furnished. I would definitely stay again if I return to Trapani

Narrow and steep stairs but I knew that before booking.

I love how its very close to everything its only walking distance to the old town, the owner is really nice and been very friendly and helpful to us given us all the information that we need during our stay. He give us lots of historical information about the city too. And gave us lots of places and restaurants to visit.

The stairs is quite narrow and steep and if youve got a big luggage its going to be very hard for you to climb the stairs.

Lovely flat, very well located, within walking distance of the lively harbour and old town. Superbly equipped, (kitchen with oven and washing machine), very well maintained, homely and cosy. Right next door is a lively local pizzeria and a great bakery. However, what above all determines the value of the flat is the extremely helpful, hospitable and friendly owner, Nicola. We would be very happy to return

Location was very central to port, cafes and restaurants as well as main shopping streets.

Stairs (50) were a challenge as very narrow and steep. No Microwave.

We loved everything about Alla Scaletta: - the extremely helpful and most charming host, - perfect location (between the historic center and the sea), - big comfortable bed, - French window in the bedroom with a view on a narrow quiet street, - fully equipped little kitchen, - lots of useful things, like a chest of drawers in the bathroom, additionall small table in the bedroom, place for hanging laundry, etc., which made our stay really comfortable, - homely atmosphere. If we could, we would stay much longer! We do recommend that place! Please, bear in mind that "alla scaletta" means "on the ladder" (if I am not mistaken). You reach the apartment via a really narrow staircase. I actually liked it because it was somehow romantic (I felt like a princess in a tower ;) Fortunately I had my prince with me :) )

Location, property, equipment

The flat was very clean it has a good location. In the property there were extra things that made it really welcoming with information pack. The host was very approachable and provided us with information we needed, like buses to get to specific locations.

Nicola and Francesco were great hosts. They communicated with us from the beginning, met us when we arrived and gave us tips on everything - from trips to take, views to see, restaurants to try and buses to use. They used a translator app to help, which was really nice. They even offered to meet before leaving to say goodbye! We really felt welcome and taken care of:) The flat is cosy, clean, bright and fully set up - you can easily cook your meals there, wash your clothes, a real home away from home. The location is perfect, very close to the port and just off the old quarter with plenty of restaurants at your doorstep and it's also quite quiet given the proximity to the centre. Don't think twice, you'll have a great stay in this lovely place!

The only thing to be mindful of are narrow stairs you have to climb to reach the flat on the top floor. We didn't mind as it was good exercise:) Just something to keep in mind in case of health issues.
