Atoll Retreat

We liked so much the hospitality of the hotel and its staff.

De gastvrijheid hier in dit hotel is absoluut geweldig. Shakil was onze host en hij gaf ons vanaf het begin het gevoel alsof we thuis waren. Je krijgt alles wat je nodig hebt, met een glimlach. Omdat het onze huwelijksreis was kregen we ook een gratis diner op het strand!

La struttura è al centro dell'isola, si raggiunge facilmente qualsiasi punto, anche se piccola. Si trova nella via principale dell'isola in cui sono presenti dei negozi di souvernir anche se il panorama da su case local e cantieri.

Non mi è piaciuto il fatto che era sprovvista di ascensore, avevo la camera al secondo piano e per mangiare bisogna salire al terzo piano. Gli asciugami, anche se puliti, presentavano macchie, il letto e i cuscini sembrava di dormire su una lastra di marmo, troppo duri. La colazione, unico pasto da noi compreso, presentava poca possibilità di scelta, se si voleva farla dolce e non salata, era presente solo pane e marmellata.

Location is good as near to shops and the beach. Rooms were ok, new and had most of what you’d want.

The lack of any hooks or drying facilities in the room for towels or beachwear. Lack of a shower screen so floor was soaked in the bathroom. The double beds were rock hard but the twin room bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not great. It was noisy, very echoey.

El alojamiento parece nuevo, las instalaciones están cuidadas y la cama es muy cómoda. El personal es agradable.

El desayuno aunque cumple, puede mejorar, es tipo buffet con pocas opciones y poca variedad.

Nuestra estancia ha sido maravillosa. El trato recibido por el personal del hotel ha sido excepcional: siempre atentos, amables y con una sonrisa. Nos hemos sentido como en casa desde el primer día. La ubicación es perfecta, con acceso fácil a playas preciosas y rincones para relajarse o hacer snorkel. La isla tiene un encanto especial, muy auténtico y tranquilo, y su gente es increíblemente acogedora. Volvemos a casa con el corazón lleno de gratitud y recuerdos preciosos. ¡Repetiríamos sin dudarlo!

New, clean hotel that’s very close to the beach and offers excellent hospitality from staff. The staff organised tours for us, helped us with logistics and booking the speedboat, and were very friendly. Massive thanks to Shakil and his colleagues for such a warm, welcoming service.

Room sizes were a bit smaller than in photos.

Small balcony, view from the room was disappointing compared to what I saw on pictures. Also breakfast could have been much better.
