Kona Mansions

Location was good. Interior was pleasant. Overall, comfortable.

Instructions to find the parking space would help, especially considering it was not at the address/parking lot of the VRBO. Trying to find the space, at night, proved frustrating. If it wasn't for the neighbor, we would've been lost. The rise of the steps were difficult for a handicap person to use. The other option was a long walk from the parking space.

Good place, 5 mins from ali’i drive lot of stores and restaurants.

The location was great. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches.

The bed was a bit firm for my liking

Not the easiest place to find, parking is in odd spot . Key pad entry was difficult at first as instructions didn't include need to enter first numbers that appear on key pad before enter pass code. Margo who lives across from condo and does cleaning was very helpful. There was some confusion by all groups who was to collect rent. We had to leave a week early due to the passing of my wives father and left notice to booking.com of this and nobody contacted us for payment until a week after we where back home.

Easy access with door code given prior arrival, lovely clean open plan areas with a large comfy bed. Air con & fans assisted climatising from a winter living country to Hawaii’s warmth. A nicely stocked bathroom with a washing machine & dryer that was a bonus. Very helpful & friendly neighbour as first timers to Kona which was pleasant after a long flight. Also in an excellent location, walking distance to downtown shopping / food & bar areas with lots of variety. Mahalo nui!
