We had a wonderful time at the Govinda House in the Govinda Villas. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by nature — a true jungle feeling combined with all the comfort you could wish for. The interior is beautifully designed and thoughtfully arranged, you can really feel the love and care that went into every detail. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help — truly outstanding hospitality! Everything worked perfectly, and every little request was met with a smile. Whatever we needed, it was possible. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and comfort all in one place, this is absolutely the right spot. We’ll definitely come back!

Die Anlage ist ruhig gelegen und der Local Guide der Unterkunft, Chris, war unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Er organisierte für uns einen Tagesausflug zu den schönsten Orten der Umgebung und gab uns dabei einen authentischen Einblick in die lokale Kultur.

Die Lage ist recht abgelegen, ohne eigenes Transportmittel ist man nicht flexibel. Zimmer und Pool könnten sauberer sein, und der Service wirkte eher zurückhaltend. Abends im hauseigenen Restaurant wirkte es so, als würde nicht selbst gekocht, sondern nur externes Essen bestellt.

Govinda is in a really nice neighbourhood in the jungle from where you can go to several cultural programs. The service and the house was perfect and private, they try everything to please you. I would give my biggest positive compliment to Dono who was taking us everywhere in the neighbourhood. He speaks really good English and knows and explains you everything you want to know. Big big compliment! We didnt know but he also offers a pick up and drop off service from the airport, so my advise to future guests is to take this opportunity.

They had nice huge towels

The place was dirty. We couldn't sleep at night because there were animals within the room. We asked for help but she just said "oh, it could just be rats? Just call if you need us?". Which was not very helpful. The pool was filled with insects and there were a lot of spiders in the toilet. The room itself was very dirty and the people were not helpful.

Le personnel est très gentil, le jardin est beau et c’est dans un village très préservé du tourisme de masse de Bali.

À notre arrivée, l’hôtel nous a fait une drôle d’impression, comme s’il était laissé à l’abandon. La toiture de la chambre était moisie par endroits, il y avait deux nids de frelons (habités), l’évier de la salle de bains était bouché et les draps étaient tachés. La piscine aussi semblait peu entretenue. La chambre dispose d’une magnifique baignoire mais impossible d’en profiter : il n’y a pas assez d’eau chaude pour la remplir et le trou ne retient pas l’eau. Il y a eu plusieurs soucis de communication avec le personnel, qui fait de son mieux, mais quand même. Je pense que le prix de la chambre est un peu élevé quant aux prestations et à la qualité du service. C’est dommage, c’est un endroit plein de potentiel, mais qui a besoin d’entretien. Pour nous c’était une déception vu les notes élevées qui lui sont attribuées !

Staff di govinda sangat ramah, saya menginap bersama anak saya. Pagi hari kami berjalan keliling villa yang ada kebun lumayan luas, sarapan juga enak. Kamat bersih dan luas Kolam renang yang super luas ada kolam renang anak juga. Owner nya bapak made, dan keluarga sangat ramah sekali. Next time kami akan kembali lagi 🤩
