"Stedet kan anbefales👍"

Kjempe fint plass med ypperlig service.Det kom en uønsket odør inni mellom inne på serveringsstedet. Ellers et alletiders opphold. Kjempe god mat.

"Not again"

5.0

Location, restaurant, staff.

E-house. Fancy, but very impractical. Just 2 hooks, power. Socket on one side only, the same with reading light. You can open one part of the roof, but when closed you cannot look out. That could be done much better. 1900 NOK for one night is totally overpriced. You are requested to take off your shoes when entering the restrooms, which is not appetizing when the floor is filthy.

"Wonderful. Special place."

9.0

Absolutely wonderful place, what a special experience it is staying there.

Unfortunately as we were travelling slightly out of season the restaurant was closed for breakfast and dinner. Pretty much all shops and cafes on the island were also closed so we were quite stuck for meals! The destination far outweighed this inconvenience.

Concept and location

The toilet and bathroom was 64 steps down from the cabin so when I went to the toilet during the night it was a king steep climb on timber steps. Our A frame was near the timber stairs and everyone that walked up and down to their cabin could be heard in our cabin till 1 am. At about 2 am the wind became very strong and we had our window open to reduce the strong timber resin smell in the cabin. The wind produced a loud crackling sound inside the inner and outer timber of our cabin. The internal plastic darling between the timber construction layers must have come loose and cracked very hard in the wind so you could not keep the sound down even with wearing ear plugs. So we did not sleep at all because of the noise. The visit to the toilet at 2:30am was a bit frightening because there was some unsavory activity in the toilet cubicle next to me and so I raced outside and to the staircase leading to my cabin and up the 64 steps as I felt uncomfortable and vulnerable. In the morning we quickly cancelled our second night stay, for all the reasons above. We were grossly sleep deprived. In addition a 19 year old girl from Poland is at the front desk and seems to run the show. With little vested interest in what could be a fantastic operation, she has little concept of positive public relations, or how to function in a service and hospitality industry.
