100% with all the other comments, the host family is super lovely!! They really took care of me, replying super quickly by text if I had any question. The room and bathroom were extra clean, with so much space and own private garden. Monkeys are coming around the house every morning (they never even tried to steal my breakfast - these are sweet monkeys). The local breakfast was sooo good Everything is pretty much walking distance (about 15-20min walk from the main beach of Hiri - you can have a shortcut through the best restaurant). I didnt need to rent a scooter and ended up walking everywhere in town

Loved staying with this wonderful family. The room was spacious and the bed was huge, the AC was fantastic and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The family made the whole stay so much more special. I was lucky enough to have dinner cooked for me and even joined in with some of the preparation which was really fun. They welcomed me in and even gave me a sweet nickname while I stayed!! I would recommend staying here to everyone. They will look after you, feed you well and you’ll feel a part of their home. Would definitely go there again! One of the nicest stays of our holidays. From the first moment we arrived, Rasa and his family welcomed us so warm we immediately felt at home. They were all very happy to help us with anything, making our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was always very nice and varied day by day. (We were also supprised with something special for Sri Lankan New years. So lovely!) The place is 15-20 mins walking to the beach, but for us, it was worth it because we were in a quieter area with still plenty of options to have dinner around. The place really looked like in the pictures. Also, a tip is that you can ask the host to drive you with his tuk tuk in case you come by bus to Dikwella.

La chambre est très confortable, très propre, on a un petit extérieur juste pour nous et un bon petit déjeuner. Les propriétaires du homestay sont très attentionnés bref très bon séjour

Krásné a čisté ubytování v homestay, velmi milá a ochotná rodina. Snídaně byla výborná a opravdu velká. Určitě doporučuji.

Hele krachtige airco en ventilator. De kamer is binnen no time goed op temperatuur. Banana Roti als ontbijt was heerlijk. Lieve hosts. Op loopafstand (15 min) van strand en cafe's. Fijn dat er redelijk veel plek was om kleding op te hangen en spullen op te leggen. Fijn dat we nieuwe handdoeken kregen na 2 (van de 4) nachten.

De druk van de douche viel af en toe weg, maar dat kwam omdat er zeer weinig water in de omgeving was op het moment dat we er waren. Dat was ook snel weer opgelost. Het westerse ontbijt vonden we matig in vergelijking met de andere plekken waar we geslapen hadden. Wel gaven we aan dat we liever roti met banaan wilden. Dat kon ook en dat was heerlijk.

De fijne en lieve familie die alles voor je verzorgen. Je voelt je gelijk helemaal thuis.
