Location is great

Communication on how to get keys and check in was not what was written in reservation. When reserved it said we’d get instructions a month before. Two days before I had to call and share reservation info to get it.

The apartment owner was helpful and available when we needed help with parking, keys, and accommodation. The location is close to the center, but you should be careful with driving and parking because the house is on a hill. It can also be strenuous to hike in summer. The apartment was very clean, and everything inside was new and spacious.

The apartment is rented out through the agency Dare to Dream, which left us with the impression of unprofessionalism. First, they can ask you to pay for the accommodation reservation outside the Booking platform because they don't know how to trigger the withdrawal of funds for the reservation via Booking, which we did not agree to. The agency's office is located on the highway in Dobrota, 3 kilometers away from the accommodation, and you must go to them to pay and check in. If you are not coming by car, this can be very inconvenient. After we paid, we asked for the bill. They promised that it would be issued the same evening. Since we didn't get the bill, we asked for it again. After that message was ignored, we asked for the third time and wanted to contact the accommodation owner. After that, we finally got a response from the agency, with a passive-aggressive tone of communication, and in the end, we managed to get the bill as well. In the future, we would not recommend renting this apartment in winter because it was freezing when we entered, and it took two days for it to warm up normally. The heating is on air conditioning.

The apartment is very new and has all the facilities you need. Wonderful view of the town and mountains. Thank you! We had great stay with family.

All was good, but just note that the payment will be taken by the host, not booking.com. I overlooked this info before.

Clean, spacious, amazing views

There was a strange smell in the bathroom each day. It wasn’t horrendous just not ideal. We think it was coming from one of the drains

Great facilities and modern, well-decorated interior. The location was good, but I would warn people about the hill as they might struggle if they have any mobility issues.

Perfect location for Kotor old town and the surrounding area. Modern apartment, which was like new. Great balcony with a wonderful view over the old town. It was easy to contact the host with any issues (although nothing that was a worry!). We would definitely return and recommend.

AWFUL PLACE!. Demands for cash Late night messages and visitors at the door.We felt intimated and unwelcome. Constant demands for cash from the owner

Messages for cash payment thirteen times over two hour period on the night of our stay ( apparently the card payment system wasn't working ). Culminating in an 11.30pm knock at the door from a stranger wanting the cash payment. Very, very rude host 'Maria'' shouting at us on the stranger's loud speaker on her phone. We had to hand over the cash there and then. We have never experienced anything as awful as this and have travelled all over europe many, many times. The host also 'cancelled' out booking during the night whilst we were trying to sleep. I still don't understand what was going on here, but it was a horrible experience, and my wife felt very vulnerable, obviously we couldn't sleep and left as soon as we could. Expensive ( look for the hidden charges, cleaning etc ) up a hill..lots of mosquitoes and unpleasant people. AVOID.
