Couldn’t get TV to work right. Did not like how light in bathroom was on motion detection and would go off. Pillows in second bedroom not good at all.

Spacious, comfortable and close to Sequoia National Park. Beds/bedding were nice quality. Floors in the shower were designed to be slip proof.

This unit has a nonrefundable policy. You can refund within 24 hrs, but after that, it's non- refundable. So I took my chances in booking it when I arrived to Three Rivers, CA. Unfortunately, because the town is so remote, you don't get mobile service. So I booked it at a place with Wi-Fi, but didn't receive check-in instructions automatically. I got the address immediately but there were 3-4 villas. By the time we arrived at the complex, it was dark. It would have been nice to have outdoor motion lights to see. I tried twice to call the contact phone number for instructions, but I got voice mail each time and left a message. None of the villas seemed to be occupied that night. Fortunately, one unit seemed to be unlocked. So at least, we were able to get in. But we had to go back into town to get WiFi to contact the owner/property manager for instructions. So 90 minutes after booking, I got check-in instructions. We were in the wrong villa. But being that it was already 7-8pm and there were no other guests, the property manager said it was okay and relayed the WiFi information. The rest of our stay was uneventful. It was a very messy check-in. This kind of information is helpful to know in the posting. Relay that you don't pick up mobile service or that it's spotty. Also it's helpful to know that you don't automatically get check-in instructions when your reservation is confirmed. If the manager had been available by phone, it would have avoided the chaos, but you can't expect for them to be available 24/7. So they should have a backup plan available so guests don't have to rely on the manager sending out information.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Muniz Village. We opted to stay here the evening before visiting Sequoia and so glad that we did. The amenities within the accommodation were perfect for us. Beds were incredibly comfortable, shower was great. Read a lot of reviews complaining about not being able to put toilet paper down the toilet - we've visited places in the Caribbean where this is common practice so it didn't cause us any issues or phase us. The bathroom facilities were great. Amazing kitchen space. We were only there for one evening so didn't need to use it however has everything you would need for a short or slightly longer stay. Fridge space was generous. Would absolutely visit again even if it was just for the stunning views! Word of advice to anyone who is planning on staying here before going to Sequoia...do NOT take food with you into Sequoia, we left ours in the accommodation and glad we did as we seen a bear in the park, they're definitely around - not something we see from this side of the pond and glad we erred on the side of caution!

This didn't necessarily have anything to do with the property itself but we both ended up with bites. A mosquito either got in, in the short space of time the door was open when we brought the luggage in or there was already one inside. Either way, just be wary that they are around and hungry little suckers!

The location was great. The place was clean, smelled fresh. Kitchen had everything you needed. They provided detergent for the washer and dryer. They provided shampoo conditioner and body wash! They provided board games which came in handy since we flew in and were limited to what we could bring for entertainment. Their internet is FAST since its with starlink. Loved the gallon water dispenser they provided for cooking and refilling out canisters for hiking!

Just a blow dryer in the bathrooms would be great!
