It is obviously modern, probably new accommodation, but still trying to have traditional feel. Very simple and it has a great location.

I didn’t like that it requires another app to download for check in, prior check in. Everything is digital. Most of the time nobody was at the reception and room felt stuffy as you cannot properly open windows and we felt it was a bit humid.

Great location, quiet street but close enough to walk to busy districts.

Room had very bad airflow, very humid, in mornings the window and windowsill became very wet. Shower would steam up whole room with condensation dripping down walls after a short shower with the fan, air conditioner on and window cracked open.

Parfaitement situé à 15 minutes à pied du marché Nishiki. Chambre spacieuse et personnelle à l'écoute.

The location

Limited facilities inside the room. We were a family of 5 with three children and the facilities are really limited. No place to hang the towels after the shower for exemple. The beds are Japanese style which is ok fine but the quality of the mattresses was not great. Once the futon bed deployed they were no more space to move for the family.

We love the location, 2 minutes walking distance to 7-11, 4 minutes to bus station and 15 minutes walk to the Gion side. Room is spacious enough for us to open our luggage.

As we are staying in a 3+1 room, the big bed is actually too small to sleep 2 adults and 1 infant when there is actually more space to fit a slightly bigger double bed.
