Orelia villas

Very nice villa with a great view, nice Sri Lankan breakfast

The location really requires a car, unfortunately we were there during the New Year celebration and it was nearly impossible to get into town, tuk tuk drivers also have a hard time to find the place. Bathroom is always wet and leaking faucets.

We stayed at Orelia with our 9-year-old son and had a great time. The place is located about 20 minutes walk from the center of Badulla, which in my opinion is a perfect balance between peaceful rest and easy access to the busy and noisy city. Badulla itself is a fantastic place to experience real local life. It’s a typical Sri Lankan town with very few tourists, and the people are incredibly friendly. I highly recommend visiting Badulla if you're looking for an authentic taste of Sri Lanka. As for the accommodation, there are a few wooden bungalows to choose from. Some are small, some are larger — we saw three of them, and each had its own unique charm. The smallest one had an amazing view and a spacious patio. The two larger ones had a second floor with stairs that might not be ideal for elderly guests, but they also had balconies and patios. The staff were extremely helpful and always willing to assist — whether it was doing the shopping, ordering meals from local restaurants, or anything else we needed. I highly recommend this place if you're planning a visit to Badulla.

The wooden concept was very appealing , also the private view point. The cosy atmosphere surrounded by as it was in the middle of the forest.

The place is amazing! And the service as well! The host made sure we had everything we needed, even though many stores were closed due to the full moon.

Very beautifull place which blends with the nature.

Sleeping place is not very comfortable. Also kind of open to outside as well. Therefore there is a risk of wild alimals could come in to the bed room.

Sceneries are excellent but difficult to reach. However service is very good and also the breakfast milk tea is really tasty.... 👌🙂

The bathroom facilities are not successful ...
