"Superb"

The apartment has a perfect location in Ortigia, very central and at the same time it is quiet during the night. The balcony is very cosy and has a nice view over the old town. In the apartment there is everything you might need and besides as we stayed during Easter, Rosy had left for us a special Easter cake! She was very nice and responsive! All in all I recommend and would stay there again!

If I have to mention something it is the smell of humidity and mold especially on the second floor. But I suppose it is because the sea is quite close. And the videocamera above the front door was a bit weird.

The location was wonderful. Great to have an airconditioner in all the rooms. Board games were a lovely touch. The bedrooms are lovely.

The stairs are very steep and no handrail. The bedrooms are downstairs and the toilet/bathroom is upstairs. This would have been okay if the stairs weren't that steep. The image for the bathroom shows a shower, looks like it was damaged. This is now a hand held shower in a bath. The washing machine really needs to be replaced, it's rusty inside and out. The view from the terrace is nice, but a bit hard to see the sea.

"Great 2 nights in atmospheric Blue Whales."

Great location, as described. Roof top area where we ate breakfast with great views. Clean with adequate kitchen utensils to prepare basic meal.

Stairs were particularly steep, however as described.

"A very comfortable and welcoming apartment for our family!"

We loved the terrace overlooking Ortigia. It was a welcoming place to chill. The bedrooms were on one level with the master having a balcony overlooking the street below. Upstairs, the kitchen and living area opened up onto the terrace. Great layout! We also loved all the art work and books.

"Unique, beautiful and 'homely'."

Wonderful place. Really nice touches like fully equipped, well stocked lovely kitchen (for example coffee, olive oil etc.), games and shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. Fab location - central but quiet. The terrace is the higlight.
