Villa Bagnoli

We had the loveliest weekend at Villa Bagnoli in Istria. The house radiates perfect wabi-sabi style, simple, elegant, and in complete harmony with nature. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, from the interior to the outdoor spaces, which turned out to be ideal for gatherings and relaxation. Mornings here are pure poetry. You wake up surrounded by nature, in complete stillness, and the first rays of the sun spill across the glass walls of the room, painting them with golden light. It feels as if the whole day is waiting quietly outside, just for you to step into it. When it comes to amenities, you truly have everything you need. It feels just like being in your own home. The kitchen is so well equipped that you could easily host a proper chef’s table dinner. An absolute dream for anyone obsessed with cleanliness. The villa is spotless from top to bottom, every corner perfectly fresh and cared for. The place is kept with real love and attention. A special mention goes to the host, welcoming, attentive, and mindful of the little touches that make all the difference. Villa Bagnoli is not just accommodation, it’s an experience that beautifully combines aesthetics, comfort, and the warmth of a home.

Very professional owners. Iva and Mario are way ahead of many landlords when it comes to customer satisfaction. They provide the house with tons of products, where very often other owners (at least in Spain and Portugal) bare the strict minimum. They are listening to every needs, and care about our well being from the very first until the last day of our three weeks stay. The place is decorated with taste inside in a quality rustic style, and outside with it’s beautiful olive trees garden and great pool.

I would suggest, one day to add a natural stone barbecue with adjustable grill (and smoke extraction) near the summer kitchen of the main house. In the mean time, there is already a charcoal freestanding barbecue available, as well as an electric barbecue at the main house external summer kitchen, also if required there is another barbecue chimney inside the secondary kitchen at the the pool house.

What a wonderful stay for a summer holiday, it was beyond our expectations! The villa itself was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering all the comforts of a home away from home, and probably more. The hosts were incredibly friendly, making sure every detail of our stay and the house was perfect. We had everything we needed. There's also a large beautiful backyard with a pool that feels private and has a view of a small town Boljun above in the distance. We enjoyed spending most of our day there in the sun drinking cocktails and BBQing inside the summer house next to the pool, while our dog was running circles around and having the best of times. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and hope to be back someday!

Villa Bagnoli absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. From extremely attentive and friendly owners, to its amenities and both interior and exterior finishing, it’s a livable work of art. Would 100% return if given a chance.
