I had a really great time at this hostel. One of the best things was that it was only one minute away from the beach, and there was also a small shop right next door which was super convenient. The kitchen was big enough for cooking and there was a large table and common area where everyone could hang out together and have a fun time with the other guests. You could also rent surfboards and motorbikes directly at the hostel, which was awesome. The nearby beaches are beautiful and really good for surfing. The village itself is very nice and the people there are incredibly friendly. The hostel owner was super kind, helpful, and funny, and made the whole stay even better. I honestly had an amazing time there and would definitely recommend staying here.

I spent 5 weeks at Chill Garrobo and loved my time here. It was a perfect base to do a Spanish course whilst surfing everyday. I think it would cater towards both people wanting a social time, and people who just want a quiet place to chill and relax. The owners were very helpful the entire time, and even brought back steaks from a neighbouring town (somewhat of a rarity in Gigante) for my last night here. Would highly recommend!

Extremely appropriate one stop shop for affordable private rooms, moto rental, surfboard rental & lessons, nice location on the beach, friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay wish was longer !

We had a really really nice stay at Chill Garrobo. We had the best time with all the people there and the whole vibe is just fun and welcoming. The Beach with great sunsets is just across the street and the town is super sweet. Its a good place for surfing and Hernan gives the best Surf Lessons. I was sad to leave and could have stayed there way longer.

Alles extrem gemütlich. Günstigster private room, mit eigenem bad im Dorf. Der Besitzer gibt sich viel mühe damit immer etwas los ist. Spieleabende, volleyball, lagerfeuer am strand, bbq etc.

Watch out! You come for a week, but you might stay for a month.

Came to Gigante and booked this because of the good price and I was really surprised! The room was nice with a private bathroom which was a luxury for someone who is used to staying in dorms.
