Nobel Bibila Hotel

It is like a hidden treasure behind a busy road. There are a lot of old books and it feels a little bit like a timetravel. The staff was super friendly. They made us a delicious dinner, when we arrived late and built an extra bed in our room for our son. The kids even had a little bath tub in our family room. The garden is wonderful and the owner even took our grandpa to his village home nearby to visit. It was the cheapest we stayed as a family of six that we stayed in Sri Lanka so far - I highly recommend it.

Отличное место, прямо в центре города, при этом в тихом дворе. Вокруг дома красивый сад, и сам дом с приятным интерьером (даже пианино есть:). Комната была чистая, большая ванная комната со всеми принадлежностями, горячая вода, кондиционер, фен. Вкусный и красивый завтрак на террасе. Мы приехали довольно поздно, тем не менее нас встретили и угостили соком. Спасибо!😊

Everything was fantastic. Such good hospitality, amazing food, amazing value for money. Everything was clean and comfortable, our room had great AC. Ruwan and Demi were so kind, always going above and beyond to help us in any way possible. They had answers to every question we had, gave us the best recommendations and always made sure we were happy. Amazing location. Everybody should stay here, I wish I could stay in this little paradise forever!

Bona ubicació,al mig del poble i aprop de l'estació de busos. Hotel amb un estil retro, encantador i ple de detalls, mobles colonials, llibres, etc.No he vist res igual a Sri Lanka. Suc de benvinguda sense càrrec i altres sucs que em van oferir al llarg de l'estada. Jardí meravellós que envolta la propietat i que et fa sentir estar al paradís.Ben cuidat i ple d'arbres amb fruites, que em van regalar. Habitació amb aire condicionat i aigua calenta.Vaig ocupar habitació 104. Esmorzar: pa,mantequilla,mermelada,un ou, cafè i/o te..També algun dia ofereixen esmorzar srilanquès. Vaig sopar a l'hotel i el vaig disfrutar, va ser vegetarià (a petició meva) i increïble i a un preu que no trobes en cap altre lloc. Deixo pel final però no menys important el tracte exquisit, indescriptible, servicial i sempre amb un somriure del propietari, sr Ruan i el treballador sr Demi. No només em van atendre com una hoste de primer nivell sinó que van dedicar part del seu temps a portar-me a visitar llocs d'interès, em van donar tota la informació i ajuda per anar al Parc Nacional de Gal Oya pel meu compte i em van donar suport en tot el que vaig necessitar. Gràcies de tot cor, sou els millors!!!!

No estaria de més una mica de renovació i neteja a fons d'algunes zones com a suggeriment per a l'excel.lència.

A bit hard to find, behind some shops and apartments, you have to go under the building through, well, a short tunnel really. Maps is fairly accurate so just look for a gap in the building. On the other side is an old house which is the Nobel Regency which should have seemed "hemmed in" by the apartments, but it wasn't as it is set in lovely gardens with many plants. It's an old house with old furniture, retro but very comfortable. Multiple common areas both inside and outside. I had a very big room with a huge bathroom which was original to the house and dated, a bit of a time-warp really, but very clean and perfectly comfortable. Good a/c and fan. Hot water and good water pressure. Comfortable bed. I was hot and tired from my motorbike journey and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They bought me a welcome drink. After I had showered, I asked for tea and a snack, and they bought me fruit and then tea and cake on the verandah. Nothing was too much trouble. I sat and read a book and they kept checking that I was comfortable and had everything that I wanted. I did notice that one of the rooms was small because they had added an en-suite bathroom in a sort of prefabricated unit inside the room. That seemed a bit unusual. But I suppose it is perfectly functional. It is an inexpensive place to stay. Very good Sri Lankan curries and rice dinner, fruit and dessert. Breakfast was also very good. This was a perfect choice for me. I didn't explore the town as I was only on a stopover for one night, and I left early the next morning. It was very comfortable with good food and fantastic hosts.

Au cœur du brouhaha de la rue, on tombe sur un havre de paix : celui du Nobel Bibila Hôtel. Un accueil exceptionnel, de la cuisine locale en quantité et en qualité, une chambre spacieuse (mention spéciale pour la salle de bain) et une générosité sans égale. Après avoir été accueilli avec un jus de fruit frais du jardin, nous avons pu nous rafraîchir dans une cascade au cœur de la jungle et des rizières. Le lendemain, l’hôte nous a organisé une excursion vers Gal Oya pour réaliser un safari sur bateau. Un séjour exceptionnel et une vraie pépite dans une ville clairement sous coté !

It's a traditional Sri Lankan house converted to a hotel and it's located right in the center of the Bibila city. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly to us. The food was also really delicious and we enjoyed it. The garden is also full of the plans and greens. 💯 recommended.
