AUBeautiful family who speak English really well, they’re super welcoming and helpful. Good kitchen facilities, comfortable beds, hot showers and a yummy breakfast included. Off street parking for motorbike too which is nice. Stayed twice as we loved it there so much, would recommend to anyone!
A sink and mirror in the bathroom, and maybe some fans for air flow in the rooms would be nice touch but you can get by fine without.
DEThe host family is so friendly and welcoming. They have prepared great lists of restaurants and sites nearby, as well as a list of transportation possibilities to various locations on Flores. The breakfast served was simple but very good. Fresh bread, delicious fruit, vegetables along with a fried egg. Coffee, Tea and Water is available whenever you want it.
It would be nice if a mirror and possibly a sink could be added somehow. It would be nicer to brush teeth in a sink instead of spitting on the shower room floor.

IDCute little hostel. Comfortable beds with charging ports right next to every bed. Good flushing toilet, some of the best showers I've used in all Indonesia, and lovely outdoor garden patio area to chill and relax. What really makes this hostel are the staff - absolutely lovely and really ready to help you in any way they can! The breakfast they make is big, filling, and tasty. Would recommend to any traveller looking for a dormitory bed on their way through Ruteng.
CZWe felt here like at home. So comfortable, clean and the vibe is so welcoming. Ino and his family are kind, smart and wonderful people! Breakfasts were different and delicious every day! You wont get any banana panckakes as in 99.9% accommodations in Indonesia elsewhere. What you really get is the treat from local ingredients! Up to that, Ino does everything what he sees you might need and is so willing to help you with everything even before you ask. Up to that he went with us to Waerebo village where it popped up to be our guide in the end. So rewarding, fun, educational, inspiring! We love this place, Ino and his family, and we would definitely come back if we pass this place again. 100% highly recommended for everyone who wants to explore local kindness, touch of home and the pure Flores! :)
CZAMAZING!! The owner oohhh, they are sososooso nice:) helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious(actually good bread 🥖, fried egg, papaya, passion fruit, banana… depends).
IDSome of the cleanest beds I’ve had in Indonesia/Southeast Asia. The family hosting us were among the most genuine and wonderful people I’ve come across! So attuned to the wants and concerns of the backpacker, always made us feel safe and always happy to chat! :) they would often go out of their way to recommend amazing activities in the area. 10/10 in any backpackers books.
Location is out of the way, and a bit loud in the mornings with breakfast; but such a small detail it’s not noticeable. Loved this place and the family
