Casa Meneghin

I really liked my stay overall - the house is very charming and has everything you need! The area is so calm and beautiful you can really relax there. However, the most exceptional part of the whole stay was the host - I had car problems and she offered me to help with such a kindness that I is very seldom to find.

It is hard to get outside of Erto without a car. So make sure you have one ready and prepared ;)

I loved sleeping in a genuine medieval setting. At Casa Meneghin, you stay in the historic center of Erto. The house, made of stone and wood, feels very wholesome. I felt incredibly relaxed and comfortable there, and I was very sad to leave at the end of our stay.

As many before me have noted, there is little to complain about with the house itself, aside from the shower curtains, which tend to spill water all over the bathroom. The only real issue is the nearby church bell tower, which rings four times an hour, day and night. While I understand this can't be changed, it did make it difficult to get a full night's sleep, as the frequent ringing kept waking us up.

Staying at Casa Meneghin is a unique experience due to the house itself and how space is arranged across 4 floors and due to the village of Erto itself. Plus there's a climbing crag just 5 minutes down the road.

I would really like to have a word with whoever is responsible for the bell of the church :/
