ITThis lovely guesthouse close to both the beach and the historic centre of Chiavari is a great place to base yourself for a short stay. The room was comfortably sized with a terrace, and they provided a bed for our toddler daughter at no additional cost. The breakfast - with fresh focaccia and the option of freshly baked pastries - was lovely. The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. There was private parking (subject to availability and chargeable), which made our arrival very convenient.
There was no air-conditioning in our room, though they were in the process of installing it, so future guests should check whether this is still true. Though coffee was included at breakfast, it was charged at €2 per capsule in the room; in most places I've stayed, this is free where offered, so it seems excessive.
