"Get the "chateau" feeling."

We stayed near the main building in the Herrgård. It was nice to feel the atmosphere of early times, when the old iron factory was still florishing. The location is nice in the summer, because of the adjacent lake which is warm enough to go swimming (end of July) at Gimobadet. Surprisingly, no mosquitos, maybe it was too hot for them. The TV and wifi worked well. The breakfast provides a sufficient number of food choices.

The room can get pretty hot in July. The ventilator provides some relief, but it stays hot. The price is quite high. After a few days the continuous "lounge" music during breakfast and at other places drives you crazy.
