The Barnhouse

A hidden gem in the middle of the bush. We loved that the accomodation was unfenced, had lots of animals visiting us throughout our stay. Our Rangers, Steven and Christopher were phenomenal and really went the extra mile. Cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.

The rooms get a bit hot after a warm day, aircon would really be great. There was no hot water at night.

The location was excellent. Quiet, unfenced, in the wild. Our guide, Roné, was superb! Very attentive and great at what she does.

The electricity issues at the house were disappointing. Additionally, management was not particularly responsive, they replied almost an hour after I messaged them on the first evening about the power outage. They also did not acknowledge the power issue upon checkout, until we brought it up.

Beautiful location, very relaxing. Had a couple of visits from lovely animals. Nice house with all appliances and facilities needed.

For a very hot weekend in Dinokeng the unit was very stuffy. We could not really sleep with open doors and windows due to wild life around the property. The 2 fans in the rooms were not enough for good night rest because it was too hot and stuffy. I would really recommend aircons in the rooms and the common areas.
