the room was nothing special. outdated but good for a nights stay.
USThe room and bed were comfortable. We stayed on a Thursday night, which meant a totally full parking lot (good for the owners!). Even with the crowds, it was still quiet overnight. No food at the hotel, but there's a fantastic brewery and restaurant nearby (Seaquake Brewing) and a coffee spot a few blocks away from the water and west of the hotel.
We stayed 2 days while we explored the Redwoods. Room was clean, front staff was nice. It was a basic room but it had everything you need. It was close to restaurants and the beach.
The motel is on 101 so it was expected to be noisy. But it was close to downtown so easy to get to places
Location was good. Room was clean. Limited sound proofing, can hear road traffic and noise from other rooms. No place to set luggage, other than the floor.
