Dory Homestay

- Very nice and proactive host. - The room was beautiful, clean and confortable. - Nice location in the old town, but Hué is a big city after all, so the New Town might be better.

- The room is a bit small, though very well organised. - Very small ants, but that's not unusual under this climate.

We had a nice terrace view and the room was clean and a good size.

It would be good to have some information on nearby places to visit, tours to take. It would also be nice to have a couple of packs of instant coffee in the room with hot water pot. The host was so nice but really couldn’t speak any English.

Very kind host, we arrived early in the morning and Dory looked after our bags. We left the next day late and night and could use the room until the last minute for showering. The rooms are very modern and air-conditioned. Great location if you want to be close to the ancient capital, a bit further from the food market.

We liked the location and the nice view from our balcony to the lake next to the accommodation. Only a few steps from the walls of the Imperial City. There are local cafés grocery stores, and restaurants next to the homestay. It's a really quiet location in Hué, good for resting after arriving from Saigon. Hué is beautiful.

Great central location near the citadel, friendly and communicative owner (replies to messages fast), easy convenient motorbike rental, spacious room with big bathroom

Funny draining in bathroom means floors flooded and soaking after shower use, view isn’t the best as lake is unclean and under construction but this isn’t a problem

It is a quiet private house away from the main street which is just around the corner to everything else. 10 minutes' walk to the Citadel Wall BUT another 15~20 minutes' walk to the front/main entrance/ticket booth! Good bathroom & great shower.

No refrigerator in room. Very basic, good enough for rest. Host do not speak English but still very helpful & polite. Should have a big signboard for the homestay at the gate.
