Location, close to mercado and zona velha Apartment was clean, spacious for 2 and had everything we needed Ceiling fans were helpful Cristina provided clear indications for the check-in Car park in the building (extra cost)

Pillows a bit too soft for us. No soap/shampoo provided. The noise coming from the traffic on the main street. We knew at the time of booking from other comments and brought ear plugs which helped. Due to the noise, you cannot really enjoy spending time on the balcony or a quiet moment after a long day visiting the island.

The apartment is perfectly located in the very centre of Funchal, close to Mercado dos Lavradores, Zona Velha, restaurants, shopping venues and Aerobus stop. It's easy for tour operators to pick up travellers from there. Inside you can find everything you need: a very well equipped kitchen, a comfy bed and sofa, as well as a huge wardrobe with a mirror. The charming balcony offers a spectacular view of Monte (especially at night😃). A bottle of wine upon arrival was a pleasant surprise.🥂 Cristina was very attentive. She helped us with a few tourist issues and kindly accommodated our request for a later check-out to suit our flight time.👍

A side table near the sofa would be useful, if only to put a cup of coffee, although that's a matter of personal preference.😉
