Villa Amorino

The property was clean and offered a lot of space for a great price. Even though we only stayed for one night, the peaceful garden setting made it a perfect retreat. You get the whole house to yourself, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, strong air conditioning, and parking. The location is also fantastic—it’s tucked away from the noise, but you can easily walk to Dadalla West Beach.

Nothing to complain about! Our stay was smooth and pleasant from start to finish.

This spacious villa and its lush garden offer the perfect way to experience authentic Sri Lankan village life, in comfort, while being just 10 minutes from Galle Fort. Amal and his family are perfect hosts, arranging a good value transfer from Colombo, welcoming one on arrival, always available and responsive. The highlight of the house is the upstairs terrace, getting a glorious breeze overlooking the tiled roofs of the village and the ocean beyond. Good bathroom, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, iron - everything you need. Great AC in the bedrooms. A really special taste of village life, welcoming neighbours, birdsong and the sound of the ocean in the near distance. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
