The gluten free options for breakfast were very welcome, thank you.

A few more tea bags would have been useful for us Tea Drinking Brits.

- beds were good, with fine bedlinen; the space is pleasant and nicely done; bathroom was absolutely good, good water pressure, warm, the building is authentic and beautiful, parking lot spacious, the fenced yard very nicely done, with fine shrubberry and plants, entire property and the building are architecturally impressive. The property is kept clean. The building is recently renovated, and it is a quality work.

We should have been informed that there are two high flights of stairs to climb (I have bad knee), sticks for opening roof windows were not there, we had to climb to open them, most importantly - digital keypads worked sporadically, it was nerve wrecking typing in the code a dozen times to get access, in kitchen - no wine glasses, no small bowls, no sponge or detergent to wash dishes (can't use dishwasher for any little thing), no rags, no cutting knife. Importantly - the breakfast containing three prepacked long-lasting items should not be called breakfast really; shortage of electric sockets, only one I could use for laptop (already used for coffee maker and a kettle, and they had to be alternated, no T-plug), and we charged phones in bathroom; the stove a bit complicated.

A special thanks to Annie (onsite) for being helpful and communicative during our stay. The location is a very easy walk from the Carpi station which allows easy access to Modena and other cities via train. The apartment was well decorated with a large amount of space, and the Apartment with Garden has its own private street entrance. Please expect that the stay will be more like a hotel rather than a home as there are limited amenities/supplies available. Recommend to try "Pizza Lab", "Noantri a Cherp", and "Amare" which are all within easy walking distance of the apartment.

While Annie was very helpful onsite, the remote communication with the owners of Villa Benatti was less helpful. They insisted on receiving passport photos via eMail or text message for all guests before providing the room code, which is against the booking.com regulations. The instructions to access the apartment lead to the incorrect door initially which caused some confusion upon arrival until Annie was able to guide us to the correct street entrance.

Had a fantastic stay! The beds were super comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. The location was ideal—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The decor was stylish and made the space feel really welcoming. Communication with the host was seamless, and the key system was straightforward, making check-in a breeze. Highly recommend!

Great place to enjoy a short stay in Carpi. Big rooms and a warm welcomed environment. Very private and accommodating. 5 minutes walk to the historic centre and 2 min walk to the locals shops.
