The location was close to the Town Centre

The House was cold inside from the first day, with the bedroom too was very cold having no fitted as standard heating facilities, in a location at the time of year is both very cold & damp. Even with the two blankets supplied, the ambient room temperature was way below acceptable to have had comfortable, warm & uninterrupted sleep during the stay. When mentioned to the Host, on the first day, the response was to offer a self standing Heater for which an additional charge was required. This extra charge, to heat up a Cold room to an acceptable comfortable/warm level to stay and sleep, was NOT mentioned prior to booking, to accept or reject at the time of booking. The Shower unit had temperamental hot water operation, which without warning, suddenly mid shower switched to cold water only. It took a long time to adjust the hot water to temper up the flow to maintain a comfortable shower water running temperature, even then, it on many occasions, suddenly turned without warning into a cold shower. The Shower room itself did not have heating facility, as with the bedroom, making the stay there uncomfortable. A Television Fitted on the wall, but it did not operate at all, during the entire period of the stay. All These inadequacies were mentioned to the Host, but only feeble excuses were given but nothing positive was done to rectify any during the entire stay.

The water heater is either too small or broken, the hot water doesn’t last a few seconds till it gets freezing again , there is no kettle or cups in the room , no toiletries for those unprepared , you gotta pay for the breakfast and the coffee separately which is weird

I spent a day in Sri Lanka and I did not enjoy as much as I did in the city of Nuwara Eliya .. It was really the most beautiful city .. The beautiful European atmosphere is imprinted on it with a gentle breeze and a simple rain that softens the air and the sky .. The city has a wonderful psychological comfort .. The guest house is very clean And the owner of the place is wonderful beyond description .. Friendly, beautiful, cooperative and kind .. She helped me with everything I needed and recommended places for me to visit .. The place is quiet, the Wi-Fi is strong and the place in general is comfortable .. The house has the character of beautiful classic houses and it also collects wonderful furniture ..

The only problem is that the dollar is not priced at its real price, so that forced me to search for a place to change the currency and then return to pay in their ruby ​​currency.
