Castellino di Malborghetto

The easy walk to the train station to get the train. The room was very comfortable. The owners made sure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything.

De kamer is heel sfeervol ingericht. De hoeve is met veel zorg gerenoveerd. De eigenaren zijn heel erg vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Er is een groot gezamenlijk terras met prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. Centrum en treinstation op loopafstand, circa 5 minuten. Goede, verlichte parkeergelegenheid naast de accommodatie.

De weg er naar toe is ‘bumpy’ en laatste stukje steil omhoog in een bocht. Er waren nog renovatie werkzaamheden, maar het heeft ons niet gestoord.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll renovierten, historischen Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist einfach hervorragend- ruhig, idyllisch und mit einer traumhaften Aussicht. Das Gebäude ist selbst sehr gepflegt und versprüht einen ganz besonderen Charme. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit- man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Zwar sind einige Arbeiten im Außenbereich (Gartengestaltung, Einfahrt etc..) noch im Gange, aber es ist klar zu erkennen, dass hier mit viel Hingabe weiter verschönert wird. Das Haus hat unglaublich viel Potenzial und man spürt, dass hier etwas ganz besonderes entsteht. Für alle , die das Besondere suchen und einen Ort mit Geschichte und Ausblick zu schätzen wissen, absolut weiterzuempfehlen!

Gorgeous garden and beautiful views. Very easy to reach the city center by walk, a bit bumpy and very steep the road by car so if you are moving ceramics pieces (I came for a ceramic festival) can be a concern.

With the rain mosquitos and toilet odors have been a bit annoying but manageable. The owners were very kind and available to help.

My stay here was fantastic, pictures online don’t do this place justice, it looks right out of a fairytale! Stunning views of Tuscany and the terrace was amazing to watch sunsets… but the absolute best thing was how kind and welcoming Nora and her husband were, they treated me like family! Breakfast wasn’t included but Nora would often bring me coffee, juices and many bottles of water :) her husband took the time to show me round the town centre and a quick way to walk there from the property and even dropped me to the station on my last day. Thank you for everything guys.

Helpful and responsive owner, clean, cozy, quietand a bit remote location, good train connection to Florence.
