"Abzuraten"

Nichts.

Achtung. Klaus

Nice room and the riad in general, it was very comfortable to sleep. Welcoming host, good breakfast

A great apartment option that I can strongly recommend. However, what I unfortunately cannot recommend is the Sahara Desert excursion I took through the host. The riad advertises this excursion immediately after booking. Upon arrival, I asked for details and was offered three options (packages): basic, medium, and private (luxury). When I asked about the differences between them, I was told that only the hotel quality varies - no other details were provided. I also asked whether it would be cold in the desert and was told it should be okay. I trusted this information and chose the medium package. In hindsight, I should have been much more insistent and asked for more details. Here’s why: The excursion includes two nights. It turned out that the first night is spent in a hotel in the mountains, and the second night in the desert. What the packages actually mean: 1) Basic (70 EUR) First night: An apartment without a heating system. On the mountains! It is extremely cold there. Only one person from our minibus was assigned to such an apartment, and I felt very sorry for him: he couldn’t sleep even for an hour. Low-quality dinner and low-quality breakfast. Second night: A tent, the same as in the medium package (see below). Dinner and breakfast are also the same as in the medium package. 2) Medium (90 EUR) First night: An apartment with heating - generally fine. Acceptable dinner, but small portions. I can’t properly assess the breakfast, but each person was allowed to take only one boiled egg and nothing more, which suggests it wasn’t very good. Second night: A shared tent in a camp. The camp has one sink for everyone, no proper shower, and only three barely functioning toilets for all guests. The dinner is good. The breakfast is just bread with honey and jam - there’s no way I can call this a proper breakfast. The real problem, again, is the temperature. I slept very badly. The beds had only two blankets, which was definitely not enough.

"Friendly staff and nice Riad"

8.0

The location is good and central, the Riad is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful, also stored the boxes of our bikes for the 2 weeks, which was amazing thanks!

Breakfast is not served earlier than 8.30.. a bit late if you want to have the full day, and the shower had run out of hot water, apart from this all good!

Good location not far from Tinsmith Square. Everything inside was just fine (and not the best terrace for enjoying the sun during a winter escape). Friendly host let me leave my bags in the riad after checking out since I had a flight in the late afternoon.

Not the most comfortable stay - my room was next to one of the shared bathrooms, and despite reading previous reviews, I did not imagine just how much I would be able to hear: every breath, splash, grunt, etc... There is also often light coming in from the hallway through the window and the curtains do not do much. Fortunately I had both earplugs and an eye mask from staying in hostels, but I was imagining my private room as a more "luxurious" (but still budget-friendly) ending to my trip in Morocco and it did not quite meet expectations. The value for the money could be a lot better since I had previously stayed in another riad in the Marrakech Medina for a similar price per night that felt much nicer.

Staff, breakfast, quiet. Mohamed kindly did his best to accomodate us. For example I wanted a room with a window to the outside and we were able to change rooms for that.

The lighting in the room was dim. Some of the photographs on booking dot com no longer reflect what is offered by the Riad.
