VeLa Homestay

One night stay in room no.2 Descent room with separate eating area plus kettle and single cooking plate and bathroom. The vacation was ok , night time U can leave and enter the property via side escape staircase ( if U upstairs) . The furniture is a bit dated, some patches on the walls , Air con needs Re- Filling as it was poorly blowing warm air , instead of cold air. Generally ok

Wifi was good. Room size. Lots of toilet paper

It was dirty. I don't know when they did good cleaning last time. The floor in the bathroom was evidently dirty, toilet seat was dirty and I guess most of other places were dirty too, I just avoided use anything. The size of the room is big, but there's nothing really useful: I wanted a real kettle -- not some kind of pot on a small stove, no balcony in the room, no views -- just adjacent place's restaurant, no sofa, no iron, no useful dishes or cups, no wardrobe, no clothes rack -- all of this were in unit facilities. When I tried to check-in in the first time, where was no host, me and another family waited him for 30 minutes, then they booked another place and I dropped my stuff to friend place. Nobody answer in Booking messages. Yet sometimes he closes common door

The place was quiet and easy to find. Our host was very welcoming. There was good WiFi available. There is free laundry service available. Our host was also very helpful in arranging a two-wheeler for us. Our AC started giving us issues on 2nd day and we got a replacement room immediately. The rooms were equipped with basic cooking amenities.

Opting for a smoking room was not good. The room was in shambles. Go for a non-smoking room. Those ones are better.
