Valletta Door

Pictures in advert have been edited and do not reflect what the property actually looks like! Property was smelly, damp, mouldy, fixtures falling apart and bugs crawling around. Window downstairs was broken and only other small window was in the bathroom. The front door was not sealed so there was a big gap out on to the front street. We have put in several complains and requested a refund (which has not been issued) as we left shortly after arriving and did not stay, we paid for different accommodation nearby which had no issues.

Bien situé près du centre historique et des transports en commun.

Les lattes des 2 lits étaient soit manquantes ou cassées dans la chambre principale.De plus il y avait de nombreux cafards .L'endroit est vieillot..La literie et le linge de toilette auraient bien besoin d"être changés.La salle de bain est minuscule.Il n'y pas de fenêtre.

Solo la posizione abbastanza vicina al centro di Valletta.

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti in questa struttura e come da titolo è stata un'esperienza orrenda. Per prima cosa una volta entrati nell'appartamento abbiamo avvertito una fortissima puzza di umidità che rendeva l'aria irrespirabile in tutta la struttura. L'appartamento non rispecchiava le foto pubblicate su booking perché aveva un aspetto particolarmente decadente. Ma la cosa più grave è stata soggiornare con una vera e propria infestazione di scarafaggi che uscivano da tutte le parti, armadio, cassetti, e per giunta dal frigorifero. Contattando il personale della struttura, e facendo notare il grave problema, mi veniva risposto che avrebbe potuto mettere a disposizione prodotti specifici per una disinfestazione, ovviamente da me fortemente rifiutata come "soluzione" perché non ritenevo fosse il caso di utilizzare per casa prodotti nocivi per la salute durante la permanenza, soprattutto perché la struttura si trova sprovvista di finestre per una adeguata areazione.

The place was infested with roaches. We contacted the host, but she said: "Unfortunately here in Malta is something very common, there are a lot here. we spray something against them before every check-in to avoid them, but some always manage to enter. I don't know if the cleaner left the spray there or not, but in case you can check under the sink, we have different products and possibly there is the spray as well, so you can spray it all around before leaving for your morning trip" Let's be clear, it was not few that "managed to enter", but there was one or multiple nests, behind the kitchen, and behind a white shelf. It's a level where you need to close the place, treat everything, and then reopen. The product under the sink was empty and her only response was : "There is a convenience shop like 200 mt from there, it's a minimarket and has also this products" Tldr: "it's your problem not mine" The floors was quite covered with roaches poops. I killed around 10 and it's only the ones I managed to get. The bathroom curtain and ceiling were quite moldy. The bed were atrocious, and the mattress of the large bed was falling in some points due to lack of proper support. The place looks nothing like the photos, and I feel that the 2 single bed room was photoshopped. The smell and the humidity we're also quite bad, due to lack of proper ventilation, and there was not really any window to open to make it better. Using the AC to lower the humidity and temperature not really an option since the host announced that he will charge above 10kwh (quite easy to reach with AC), at a cost of 50ct/kWh (which is roughly 4 time the current cost in Malta). We've been woken up multiple times in the middle of the night by the doorbell, either going crazy or people were playing with it, either way it's not a pleasant experience. All of this sounds like a scam and I would like a refund.

Només entrar a l'apartament vam haver de marxar a buscar-ne un altre. Estava ple de paneroles (cucarachas), i molta olor d'humitat. Era insalubre. Molt desagradable. Els propietaris no ens van voler tornar els diners.

No és pot oferir un apartament en aquestes condicions.

It was a good location ,,it had enough beds to fit what we needed and it was clean

One of the TVs was broken but we reported it and we couldn’t seem to get the hot water working but it was 39degrees all weekend so cold showers were fine 😜

The apartment is situated in a historical building and is charming. It’s located on a beautiful street of Floriana, a short walking distance from La Valletta. We liked that there were no steps, the entrance door has a direct access to the street. The flat is spacious, it had everything necessary for our needs. We had a beautiful holiday.

The bedroom downstairs is situated under the ground level. My daughter was sleeping there, she said that she didn’t like the smell of the humid air. She said that it shouldn’t be used as a bedroom.

Location is good. Easy walk into Valetta. Good cafe and convenience store both around the corner. Host communication was excellent.

Damp. Musty. No windows. No ventilation. Cockroaches. Futon sofa bed was rock-like and shouldn't be advertised as a bed. Shower floods after 1 -2 minutes.

I liked the location, there was everything you could need in the apartment for a self catering stay.

I didn't like the stairs to the basement bedroom so my son got the double bed, a I settled for a single.
