Stunning views, comfortable and immaculately clean rooms, hearty breakfast and most of all exceptional hospitality by Mauricio, Luciana and the rest of the family who run the wonderful O’ Lattariello. Mauricio’s helped us plan the itinerary so that we made the most of our three nights in Amalfi. Upon his recommendation we visited the Villa Cimbrone in Ravello and took a day trip to Positano in addition to exploring Amalfi (the cathedral is wonderful). For food, Mauricio suggested Donna Stella and La Taverna del Duca for dinner, which were spot on. During our stay the public elevator up the hill was down for repairs so stairs were our only option for access. We still managed fine and the approach that worked well for us was to go up at a leisurely pace rather than rushing. Overall, a fine stay. We enjoyed the authentic Amalfi experience.

It was great. Yes there are stairs but my wife and I (both close to 50) managed fine. Other guests, some clearly in their late 60s, seemed unbothered by the stairs as well.

Such gracious, helpful hosts made our stay very special. They were very kind to meet us at the parking and assist us up the 300 steps with our luggage. The breakfast was very delicious and abundant. Thank you!

Many stairs but someone to carry your luggage!

Breakfast with the beautiful view was so relaxing.

The beds could be more comfortable.
