We stayed at La Traversina for just one night, and it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Italy. The house is a beautifully preserved traditional Italian countryside home — clean, peaceful, and full of authentic charm. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. What truly stood out was the breakfast – everything was organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. From the homemade jams to the fresh eggs and local cheeses, it was a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience real Italian hospitality in a serene and authentic setting. We would love to come back one day!

We arrived late from Milan and were met with a warm, friendly welcome. The place is stunning, quiet and comfortable, nestled in the wilderness with multiple cats and dogs to keep you entertained. We’ll be back!

Rosanna and her family were incredibly hospitable, making you feel you were their first ever guests. Breakfast and dinner were superb, and eating with the other guests on a long dining room table added a fun perspective, as we all chatted amongst each other. The property is surrounded by a wild, green and colorful paradise, overgrown by a charming medley of vines, hydrangeas and all manner of flowering bushes. Ideal surroundings for a writer’s retreat or workshop! Or, simply, to relax, walk or cycle. Oh- and don’t forget to ask for yoga classes with Rosanna’s well informed son-in-law, a great and authentic way to start off the day!
