Lovely apartment, spacious living area, perfect place to stay for a few days in Lisbon

Location was great and the apartment had everything we needed for a short stay in Lisbon. Great for exploring the city by foot, though a bit loud at times being near street level.

The apartment lost power one afternoon and the hosts did not reply for several hours. In general, hosts were slow to respond to questions unless they needed something from you.

Location!

Difficult to get apartment, second seems to be third floor with narrow steps, no lift. To open the door was really challenge, entrance codes provided chaotic, no building picture or video instructions, we have done all ourselves. After these obstacles there were no wi-fi in the apartment, cable collector was damaged, tried somehow to repaired. There is small radiator and if you turn on from time to time you have to switch on, otherwise electricity will off. We were without heating at all. For 4 days and three night only provided 2 big towels, no soap, no shampoo. Kitchen facilities did not work at all. Very, very old furniture and uncomfortable bed on its own.

Location location location. You stay at Loft Mouraria because of the location. Near everything you want to visit and the nice restaurants and terraces in Alfama. You can walk everywhere. Near metro and bus and 1 min walk from the famous train 28. Easy transport to go to train station Cais do Sodre to go to the beach or Cascais for the day. There’s no A/C but the nights are nice and fresh and there’s no bugs so you can keep the windows open. If you are a light sleeper, we don’t recommend because of the garbage trucks from 12 to 1:30 am. It’s loud. But if you plan on having fun in restaurants and pubs and coming home late, no problem. The restaurant Chapito+live music club Barto is a MUST.

The garbage trucks at night and no A/C. (But we got used to no A/C) thank god there’s a fan! And don’t turn the shower pressure to the maximum because it’s old drains, it will overflow.

The location of this apartment is exceptional. Close to lots of different public transport options and walking distance to a lot of different tourist sites.

It is very noisy at night from people on the street and when they collect the rubbish from the nearby collection points (after midnight). The apartment features are just a little unfinished, needing some particular attention in the bathroom. We also found the front door lock quite tricky to open.
