AUMORI Hostel

Aumori was a very pleasant surprise. I hadn't realised I had booked a hostel rather than a hotel but it was the best mistake I'd made. The family were so welcoming and friendly and the room was basic but so comfortable. We had an overnight train later that day and they allowed us to shower and rest beforehand at no extra cost, which was above and beyond what we had paid for. Location is perfect and quiet. The family also recommended a great little local place to eat which is worth a visit. Highly recommend a stay here.

Okay so I've been travelling a couple of months and this place I fell in love with felt like being at home rooms super clean amazing hot shower beds super comfy loads of water for free great location but best of all is the super owner who is unbelievable and couldn't do enough for us super friendly caring and helpful i will 100percent come back just to see her she's amazing love the place ❤️

Super host family who were very kind. I was able to park my bicycle inside along with two other long distance cyclists who were there also. The lady who runs it got rid of a damaged bicycle tyre for me and was able to do some washing for me. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants round about. I was given baked sweet potatoes and there's plenty of free bottled water. Downstairs there's a nice lounge with TV The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfy. A really friendly and very good value stop.

Very welcoming family, all good and clean. The owner is a charming lady that don’t speak English but her daughter does. They helped us and gave us tips for restaurants and massage places.

The barking and crying dog chained in a cage outside right next to the door. It has spoiled our 2 nights there.

Aumori Hostel was perfect for our quick stay in Dong Hoi. The host was so lovely! She was incredibly kind and helpful.

Very nice owner, even though we had to translate with google. Bed is comfortable, our room had no window, but we were just there for sleeping, so overall is was pretty ok!

I felt like at home. The hostel is very clean and beautiful. The owners are really kind and made me feel welcome. They helped with everything: motorbike, food, clothes. The best choice in Hong Doi.
